I have decided to feature Harpo on this blog ,as not a lot has been mentioned about him in recent years, Firstly I became interested in him because of a repeat showing of a 1976 Top Of The Pops, in the past month so I did a bit of research on him, along with enjoying his music on You Tube.I have done an Essay on him for my literacy cource at college, and I dearly hope I have all my facts right about what he has done so far!.
Moviestar was a hit in this country, however I am not sure if Horoscope and Motorcycle mama was also a hit here in G Britain. I also dont know if he toured G Britain. He is from Sweden and has a horse Breeding farm somewhere in Sweden. A while ago he got kicked in the face blinding him in one eye and I think he also broke his nose. I was really pleased to find someone that knew Harpo and as a result should recieve an autograph photo shortly!.
My interest in Harpo made me suddenly get very interested in the Swedish way of life, on Google search Sweden looks lovely and free from litter and graffiti. we should take a leaf out of there books! Harpo is 61 now and still tours Germany and Sweden.
